Meanwhile, in a related development, the Public Relations Officer of the UNIBEN Students’ Union Government Mr. Ehiabhi Goodnews recently issued a press release where he cautioned prospective applicants and admission seekers to be wary of fraudsters who are out to scam unsuspecting victims.
He noted that, some individuals who are keen on swindling people’s money are passing misleading information online, giving out phone numbers as well bank account details with claim that, if any applicant wishes to process his/her admission, they should send cash to those bank details.
All applicants are thereby advised to be very careful because Admission into the University of Benin is based on merit and all of these people collecting money online and offline are fraudsters.
