Faculty of Life Sciences Fences Field Against Cattle Encroachment

In order to curb the incessant encroachment and destruction of its flowers by cattle, the Faculty of Life Science has embarked on a project to raise a wire-gauze fence round its outer field at its dean’s office.

This was brought to the notice of students in a circular from the Office of the Dean of the Faculty.
According to the circular, the herdsmen allow their cattle graze on the flowers, and this has resulted in its inability to nurture and raise the flowers.

Students and all concerned were urged to put their hands on deck, so that, the flowers will be protected and ensure a beautiful environment.

Also, in order to ease movement across the field, pedestal walk-way has been provided.

Work has since began on the project.
