As the new Academic Session begins for the old and returning Students, temporary accommodation will be made available in the Halls of residence.
This information was revealed in an update by the Students’ union Government through the P.R.O, Hon. Ehiabhi Goodnews.
By this, the Hostels (Hall 2 for Ladies and Hall 3 for males) will be temporarily opened this Sunday 12th November to all returning students. This will be for a period of three weeks (21 days). This also includes returning Students from the Ekenwan Campus as well.
Also stated on the update is that, Application for Hostel Accommodation in this Session would be done based on faculty, that is, manually. But this would be after the payment of School fees as well as Hostel charges.
The allocation of Hostel space will be done on a first come, first be served basis and the process will be supervised by Parliament and the Executive Council in order to ensure better allocation of space.
In the notice, the P.R.O made it clear that, there has been no increment in school fees, therefore, any such News should be regarded as false.
He noted that, the Students’ Union government would resist any attempt to increase the fees and emphasized the fact that, it remains committed to representing the interest of all students.
