INEC Begins Voters Card Registration at Uniben

The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has agreed to Bring the Voter’s Card Registration Exercise to Uniben Campus to make it easier for eligible Students to register.

Comr. Ogbidi  Osemudiamen, the elected president of the Students’ Union Government made this known with a post on his facebook page, according to him, the officials of the Electoral body agreed to bring the Exercise to Campus “after much appeal”.

The Exercise which was supposed to Kick-off today by 8:am  at the University Staff School could not hold as the Venue could not be used  because of the strike action by the Joint action committee (NASU, SSANU, and NAAT).

After much deliberations with the relevant authorities, permission was granted for the usage of the Venue for the exercise for subsequent days. As a result, the exercise will begin tomorrow 30th January by 8 : am.

The Registration Exercise will last for a period of five days, beginning from today, January 29 to Friday 2nd of February, 2019.

All who are eligible are advised to come out to register.
