Meet the Second Ever First Class Student from Uniben Faculty of Law

After years of drought on first class Students, the Faculty of Law, University of Benin got a first class graduate from its 2017/2018 graduating students.

Mr. DESTINY OSAYI OGEDEGBE bagged a first class honors from the the Prestigious Faculty of Law in the just concluded 2017/2018 Academic session to emerge the second first class student from the faculty with Miss Mavis Abada being the first who graduated during the 2011/2012 Academic session.

During his years as an undergraduate at Uniben, Destiny won several awards which include:

Best Orator, Justice Idongesit National Moot and Mock Competition, University of Uyo, 2016;
Best Orator, Class of 1991 Alumni Moot and Mock Competition, Obafemi Awolowo University, 2016;
Semi-Finalist, National Tax Trident Debate Competition, University of Lagos, 2016;
Lead Counsel, Team UNIBEN First Runner-up, International Humanitarian Law Competition, Rivers State University, 2017;
Winner, UNIBEN-AAU Face Off Moot Competition, 2017;
And many others.
