In an effort to promote and foster the development of ICT among the students’ community, The National Universities Association of Management and Business Students (NUAMBS), University of Benin Chapter, in collaboration with #SkillBerry is organizing a 7 days Boot Camp training on ICT skills acquisition and development.
The program which kicked-off today at the Iyayi Festus Hall of the great University is aimed at empowering the students of the Department of Business Administration and to inspire their creativity to become self-reliant and be up-to-date with the current trends in information and communication technology sector, as well as the modern business world.
The week-long Event includes training on Web Design and development, Creative Graphics Designing, Blogging, and Videography/Photography.
In an interview with Euniben.com, the president of the association, Hon. Aseyowa Innocent, reinstated his commitment towards empowering the students of the Department to prepare them for the highly competitive world out there.
Also speaking, Hon. Stephen Agadagba, the chairman, welfare committee of the supreme parliament of the association, urged the students to be serious with the program and put in their best as there would be a prize for the group that will come out best in the website design and development category.
The training ends on Saturday the 24th of June, and every student of the department is urged to use this great opportunity for developing his/her skills on ICT. See more photos from the event here.
