In order to apprehend fraudulent and criminal activities, the management of the University of Benin, has notified its JUPEB Candidates and the public at large on a recent surge in the activities of fraudsters waiting at to take advantage of unsuspecting individuals.
According to the notice, these criminals use the identities of the staff of the Uniben JUPEB Study Centre, parading themselves as members of staff and make promises of helping Candidates to pass their Exams for payment of a fee.
All candidates and individuals are advised to be extra cautious as these activities have hit the media platforms, they send fraudulent whatsapp Messages, SMS, and anonymous phone calls with the in an attempt to reach their unsuspecting victims.
Any notice of such suspicious activities should be reported to appropriate body for appropriate measures to be taken.
Remember that, to succeed, your presence in classes and commitment to your studies is of utmost priority.
Furthermore, in the notice, the UNIBEN JUPEB Study Centre made it known that, it will not take responsibility for any candidate who falls a victim to these criminals and as such, all candidates are advised to stop looking for help to pass their exams.
