SUG Update 22 June 2017: Exams Shifted, Security on Campus

SUG UPDATE 22/06/2017!!!

Greetings Uniben Intellectuals, hope our day has been fruitful.

Reporting from The University Senate Meeting that was held Today 22/06/2017 at the University Senate Chambers, the Senate has considered among every other things that the the Second Semester Examinations scheduled to start on the 26th June, 2017 be shifted by TWO WEEKS.

This however takes effect from the initial beginning of the second semester exams. Students are therefore encouraged to refer to their faculty timetable officers for necessary adjustment.

It has also come to the notice of the Students’ Union Government that some inhumane Elements parade themselves as Uniben Security at night to cajole female students found in some unholy locations at night and thereafter taking them to the darkest part of the night to carry out some forceful immoral act with them.

The SUG uses this platform to appeal to our female students to always be watchful and not follow any unknown man whatsoever at night to any location if the person does not provide an appropriate means of identification. We encourage you to always notify at least a friend before leaving night class with any unknown personality.

In addition, the SUG uses this medium to wish Com. Emakpor Daniel a happy birthday celebration. We wish you the good things of life and more political appointments. Finally, the SUG electoral Commission was inaugurated yesterday to commence the processes for a fresh elections.

The SAFE IMPACT team wishes you all exams Success as you prepare for the forthcoming exams. …..IKOTU GIDEON KELECHI represents YOUR INTEREST PROACTIVELY BACK TO BACK…. Thanks for your usual cooperation.
