- 23/03/2017 Students come to halls of residence for second semester 2016/2017 academic session.
- 27/03/2017 Lectures resume for second semester.
- 17/06/2017 Second semester lectures end.
- 19/06/2017 – 24/06/2017 Revision (one week).
- 26/06/2017 Examinations begins in faculty of Education/Pharmacy/Engineering/Life Sciences/Physical Sciences.
- 30/06/2017 CED Examination.
- 03/07/2017 Other faculty Examinations (two weeks).
- 16/07/2017 Old Students go down (End of 2016/2017 Session).
- 17/07/2017 – 21/07/2017 General Studies Examinations.
- 07/08/2017 – 11/08/2017 Schools/Faculties/Institutes/Departments/Board of Studies meet to consider 2016/2017 Sessional results.
- 14/08/2017 – 18/08/2017 Business Committee meets to consider results for lower level for 2016/2017 academic session.
- 21/08/2017 -25/08/2017 Senate meet to consider result for higher levels for 2016/2017 academic session.
- 11/09/2017 New students come into residence for 2017/2018 academic session.
- 25/09/2017 Old Students come into residence for 2017/2018 academic session.
- 02/10/2017 Lecture begins for first semester 2017/2018 session.
